Dr. Munmun Mohanty is working as Assistant Professor in the area of Finance in Institute of Business and Computer Studies. She is an MBA with Specialization in Finance and Marketing. She has completed her Ph.D. in the area of stock market efficiency from Utkal University in 2003. She has more than seven years of industry and teaching experience. She is involved in teaching Financial Management, Corporate Finance, Financial Services and Security Analysis and portfolio Management. Her current interest in research is market efficiency and asset pricing models. At present, she is handling an AICTE sponsored research project on “N eural Networks and their Application in Capital market”.

Projects Undertaken
Presently handling AICTE funded project on Neural Networks and their Application in Capital Market as project investigator (along with Mr. N. R. Nayak as the Co-Investigator). This project was submitted to AICTE in December 2005 and was granted in August 2006.

Has conducted a single day Faculty development programme at IBCS on Financial Engineering on 25 th February 2004 .

Has conducted two day in-house Executive Development Programme for NTPC, Kaniha on Budget and Budgetary Control in January 2005.

Has conducted two-day Management Development Programme (MDP) on Finance foe Non-Finance Executives on 24 th - 25 th May 2005 at IBCS, Bhubaneswar .
