Ramchandra Mahapatra joins Institute of Business and Computer Studies (IBCS) as Assistant Professor with an experience of about 11 years in the financial services industry. Prior to joining IBCS, he was working as an Associate Vice President for India Infoline Ltd. After a brief stint in advertising post his PGDM in 1998, he joined GE Capital as a territory manager handling loans. He held various positions of a branch manager and a regional manager before moving on to insurance in 2002. He has held various positions in Business Development, Profit center Management and Product Management in general insurance and life insurance sectors in companies like ICICI Lombard General Insurance Company, Tata AIG Life Insurance Co and Reliance Life Insurance Co. He brings with him exceptional communication skills, astute product management experience and practical knowhow on business development, sales planning, product development and management. He is currently in his final module leading to certification in financial planning from FPSB India.
