Dr. Uma Sankar Mishra, Assistant Professor in the area of Marketing Management is working in Institute of Business and Computer Studies as Chairman(Placement). He has done his MBA in Marketing and Computer & Systems from Utkal University after completing his M.Sc. (Oceanography) from Berhampur University. He has done his M.Phill in Business Administration under Annamalai University, Tamilnadu. He has also completed a one year Diploma course in Computers in Office Management from IGNOU, New Delhi. He has more than eleven years of teaching experience in teaching to MBA students as on 2011. On April, 2011, he got the award of Ph.D degree on “Customer Satisfaction as a Strategic Intervention: A comparative Marketing study between Private & Public sector Banks in Orissa” under Utkal University, Bhubaneswar. He has also successfully completed the Faculty Development Programme of 4 months duration at IIM, Ahemedabad. He has also attended Faculty Development Programme in IIM - Indore, Technical Teachers’ Training Institute, Kolkata, IISW & BM, Kolkata, and U.G.C sponsored Refresher course at the Department of Commerce, Utkal University.
